What is an offshore dedicated server?
A physical server in a data center outside the country where you live or where your company is registered. Nothing exotic about it: the hardware, the network and the law it runs under are simply somewhere else.
Chosen for its lawThe server follows the law of the country where it sits. In the EU that means the GDPR, and no general data retention by hosting providers.
Chosen for your usersLatency follows distance: host close to your audience, wherever you live. The latency planner ranks our cities from any major city.
A whole machineBare metal, not a VPS: every core, every disk and the IPMI console are yours alone, with full root access.

What offshore hosting is not
Plenty of hosts sell “offshore” as a place where rules stop. We would rather be precise.
Not a legal vacuumYour server follows the law of its country. We answer valid orders from that jurisdiction — with the little data we hold — and tell you unless legally prevented.
Not “DMCA ignored”No complaint is ignored or rubber-stamped: each goes through the due process of our acceptable use policy, and you can answer it.
Not anonymous by itselfA foreign server does not hide who runs it; your operational security does. See our anonymity checklist.
Not a place for harmAnything legal is welcome. Abuse that harms others is not, wherever the server is.
Offshore server questions
Customers ask the engineers who run the servers, in a ticket from the client area — median first reply under 15 minutes, 24/7.
How support worksWhat is an offshore dedicated server?
A physical server rented in a data center outside the country where you or your company are based. It runs under the law of the country where it sits, not yours. Ours are in 8 countries: Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Romania, Sweden, UK, USA and Singapore.
Is offshore hosting legal?
Yes. Renting a server abroad is legal, and many companies do it for latency, privacy law or resilience. What runs on the server must be legal in the country where it is hosted, and our acceptable use policy applies everywhere.
Which country is best for an offshore server?
It depends on what matters most to you. For privacy law, our EU locations — the Netherlands, Germany, Finland, Sweden and Romania — combine the GDPR with EU case law that rules out general data retention by hosting providers. For users in North America or Asia, latency usually decides: New York, Miami, Los Angeles or Singapore. Our jurisdiction guide compares them point by point.
Do you ignore DMCA notices?
No — and we do not ignore any complaint. Each one goes through the due process of our acceptable use policy: it must be verifiable, you are told and can answer, and any action is proportionate. The DMCA is a US law; for a server outside the US, a copyright claim is assessed under the law of the country where the server sits, with the same due process.
Can I rent an offshore server without KYC?
Yes. An email address is all we ask for — no ID, no selfie, no phone number, no proof of address. See what no-KYC means here, and its limits.
Can I pay for an offshore server with Monero?
Yes, at the same price as every other coin. Monero hides the sender, the receiver and the amount; 14 cryptocurrencies are accepted in total, through our own payment gateway.
How fast is an offshore server delivered?
In-stock configurations are online within 2–4 hours of your payment confirming. Other configurations can be built in any of our locations within 24–72 hours.
Can I move my server to another country later?
A move means a new server in the new city. We run both side by side for 48 hours at no extra cost, so you can migrate without downtime.
