Refunds, paid back in crypto

Clear rules, calculated in dollars and paid in the coin you used. No forms, no chargebacks, no waiting for a processor.

  • Full refund before delivery, or within 7 days if the hardware does not match.
  • Monthly servers run to the end of the month; no partial-month refunds.
  • Quarterly and annual terms: unused months refunded after recalculating at the monthly price.
  • Paid in your original coin within 5 business days.

Before your server is delivered

You get a full refund if you cancel before provisioning has started, or if we miss our delivery window: 72 hours for an in-stock server, or 72 hours after the date quoted for a custom build.

Hardware that does not match

Every server ships with a delivery report produced on the machine itself. If the hardware does not match the order page — a different CPU, less memory, other disks — tell us within 7 days of delivery. We replace the server straight away, or refund the invoice in full if you prefer.

Cancelling a monthly server

A monthly server runs until the end of the month you paid for, and the next invoice is simply not issued. We do not refund part of a month already started, because the machine stays reserved for you until the end of that month.

Leaving a quarterly or annual term early

You can end a quarterly or annual term early and get the unused time back. The months you used are recalculated at the monthly price (the cycle discount only applies to a completed term) and the rest is refunded.

Example. An annual AMD Ryzen 9 9950X costs $115 a month, so $1,380 for the year. You cancel after four months: 4 × $125 (monthly price) = $500 is kept, and $880 is refunded.

Prepaid balance

Money sitting on your prepaid balance is yours: ask for it and we send it back, minus the network fee of the payout. Service credits from the SLA are the exception — they reduce future invoices and cannot be paid out.

How refunds are paid

  • In the coin you paid with, to an address you give us from your account email or a ticket.
  • Refunds are calculated in US dollars and converted at the market rate on the day we send them, so price movements since your payment do not work against you or us.
  • The network fee of the payout is deducted from the amount.
  • We send refunds within 5 business days of the request.

When no refund is due

  • Services terminated for a serious breach of the Acceptable Use Policy — attacks, malware, phishing, child sexual abuse material.
  • Time already used on a monthly server.
  • Blockchain fees paid by the sender when the original payment was made.

How to ask

Open a ticket from the client area, or write to support@dedicrypto.com from the email address of your account, with the server or invoice concerned and the address to send the refund to. Because accounts carry no identity, requests must come from the account itself.
